About Moycarn Lodge & Marina
Moycarn Lodge & Marina is a small hotel on the Suck, between Pollboy Lock and Ballinasloe, with balcony rooms looking out over its own marina. The bar stocks cocktails and gin and whiskey from the Ahascragh Distillery nearby, and the bistro serves classic gastro-pub dishes. The marina belongs to the lodge, which does not say on its website whether passing boats may tie up or on what terms, so ring +353 90 964 5050 before you count on a berth. Guests can fish from the marina and the riverbank a short walk from their rooms. The public harbour in the centre of Ballinasloe, with the town’s shops and services, is a short cruise further upstream.
