About Lisconor Lock

Lisconor is the lock beside Kilclare, about 4 km above Leitrim village and the last single lock before the Kilclare flight, which starts less than a kilometre further east. Waterways Ireland points boaters to Kelleher’s shop at lock 12 for supplies, but check that it is open before you count on it. The patroller for the Kilclare area can be reached on +353 87 260 3663. Paddlers on the Blueway treat this stretch as the end of the first leg from Leitrim, about 5 km of still canal water that suits beginners.
