About Cranagh Marina
The Cranagh lies on the tidal Bann about 2.5 miles from Portstewart, between Coleraine Marina and Seatons. Its marina has more than 200 m of pontoons with deep-water berths, up to 3 m even at the lowest equinoctial tides, and water and electricity on both sides; toilets and showers are on site. The complex also offers accommodation, motorhome pitches and an activity centre, and bookings go through its e-mail address. Waterways Ireland lists it as privately owned, with toilets, showers, water, a slipway and canoe steps. A cruising guide noted in 2019 that it keeps no berths reserved for visitors, so contact the marina before you arrive. The reach up to Coleraine Marina is the harbour’s designated water-sports area, and all activity must stop when a commercial ship is passing through.
