About Coleraine Marina

Coleraine Marina lies on the east bank about a mile downstream of the town centre and below the railway bridge, so boats coming in from the sea reach it without waiting for a lift. Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council runs it, with moorings for boats up to 60 ft, water and electricity, showers and toilets, a laundry, a pump-out on Fridays, a slipway, a travel-lift and hard standing, and diesel and petrol on site. Waterways Ireland notes its mast-lowering facility, which yachts heading upriver need for the town bridge. Berths are booked through the council's marina contact (+44 7738 340801). The clubhouse of Coleraine Yacht Club is next door. The reach between here and the Cranagh is Coleraine Harbour's only designated water-sports area, and all activity there must stop while a commercial ship goes by.
