About Drumaheglis Marina
Drumaheglis is one of the few public access points on this stretch of the Lower Bann, about 3 miles from Ballymoney. Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council runs a secure 32-berth marina with water and electricity, a jetty with floating pontoons, a slipway and a boat park, next to its five-star holiday park. Overnight berths are booked online and paid in full when you book, and you need the booking reference to check in. Waterways Ireland lists toilets, showers, water, a laundry, a pump-out and canoe steps. The Slipway café and ice-cream parlour is on site, along with a play area and a nature walk. Bann River Cruises hires out self-drive cruisers sleeping 2 to 8 here from March to October, with training before you set off. The Giant's Causeway and the Dark Hedges are within half an hour by road.
